First owner: C. L. Harkness, NY. Leased by the US Navy in 1917 and became USS Cythera (SP 575). Returned to her owner in 1919; reacquired by the US Navy in 1941 and became Patrol Yacht PY-26 in 1942. Torpedoed by the German submarine, U-402, off North Carolina that same year. Two of her crew survived and were sent to a POW camp.

Owned by SAR le duc de Montpensier in 1915. Requisitioned by the Royal Navy during WWI and used as a patrol vessel (crew of 59). On March 12, 1916, it stuck rocks off Gristhorpe during a storm and sank. Wreck blown up by naval divers in 1960. 16 knots.

Purchased by Marconi in 1919, renamed Elettra, and converted into a floating wireless laboratory. Sold to the Italian Government & requisitioned by the Germans in 1943; torpedoed in 1944 by a British submarine; raised in 1962 but then cut for scrap. 15 1/2 knots.
